The 5th St. Mexican American Cultural District is a new cultural district with official designation by the Texas Commission on the Arts. The 5th St. cultural district will eventually become its own 501(c)3 organization.

Summary:
The 5th St. Mexican American Cultural District is governed by a steering committee and spearheaded by Mexic-Arte Museum.
We joined the collaboration in the final stages of the proposal writing and copyedited the proposal draft and were the original author on the remaining two sections. We were responsible for gathering local data and translating research into compelling narratives.
The cultural district was granted official designation.
